Herbed Green Beans

Ingredients
2 poundsfresh green beans, ends snipped
1/4 cupbutter, minced
1/4 cupolive oil, minced
1/2 cuponion, minced
1/2 cupcelery, minced
1/2 tsp.dried marjoram
1 tsp.dried basil
1/2 tsp.dried parsley
1 tsp.salt
1 tsp.red pepper, optional
Instructions
Steam green beans until tender-crisp. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and sauté celery and onion until soft, about 5-10 minutes. Add the marjoram, salt, and pepper strips, if desired. Add the green beans to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes. Add parsley, basil, and the softened butter; stir to get too soft. Serve immediately.
